Twilfit + Salinas
So, I needed the perfect plain bikini that could also work as lingerie (good support and comfort); and combined these two beauties.
A top with under-wire cups from Swedish Twilfit and a bikini bottom from Brazilian Salinas. The perfect match? ;)
(FYI you can never buy bikini bottoms in Sweden cause they are full coverage and totally unflattering.)
The top also has removable shoulder straps and a halter strap which gives you severals bikinis in one. Good value :P
This bikini set is the far most plain I own and VERY useful.

You already know I love his bags, but have you seen his swim collection?
Rachel Zoe was impressed with this collection and I must agree the belt details are innovative. However, I would hope he will start making moderate and minimal coverage bottoms too. These ones are full coverage..

Beauty Sleep
The Swedish lingerie company Abecita first launched it's "Little Wonder" bra in the 70's, but recently did a re-launch.
This little soft bra comes in many different colors, is packed in a little plastic ball (see picture) and is made in ONE SIZE. Hence, a perfect gift for yourself or your friends.

Winter Collections
How I love bikini collections for the winter season. It either means that the place were the bikinis are designed has such a good climate that even the winters are warm and lets you wear a bikini on the beach. OR it means that the person who designs the bikinis are encouraging you to take a trip to some place warm where you can wear the bikini (these collections however are most often referred to as Cruise Collections).
It's fall in Rio de Janeiro at the moment. Soon the winter will arrive. Here's my pics from the brand new Salinas winter collection:

Bikinis for babies
My colleague just had a baby so this post is for his daughter :)
One of the best swimwear for kids I've seen in a long time is this swimsuit from HM. I would probably cut off the two strings on the right shoulder but except from them the swimsuit is beautiful, playful and perfect for a kid.
Salinas - being one of my favorite bikini brands in the world - also makes beautiful small creations for kids. The sweetest thing is that most baby-bikinis can be matched with a bikini/swimsuit for the mother in the same pattern. Some say it's corny, I say it's cute! Happy times
Here are three of my favorite VS runway creations lately. They all make me happy in different ways. The first one reminds me of Rainbow Brite (a cartoon I used to love as a kid). The second one is "ful-snygg" (a Swedish expression which translates "ugly-good looking") since the "love"-print has an over-copied Louis Vuitton feeling to it, the tail-coat is simply not a hot garment and the piece sign and white socks are more fun then beautiful (I prefer shoes to be beautiful). However, the whole look combined is still very me. It provokes but I like it.
The third one has the lovely peacock feathers which I will remember 2011 by.
Nature at it's best.
